Room filling 360 Degree Sound
Traditional super tweeters tend to focus sound in a narrow beam, which limits how evenly high frequencies spread across the room. S-Trax takes a different approach. Using our innovative, patented omnidirectional design, it radiates high frequencies in all directions, creating a more open, spacious, and immersive soundstage—no matter where you’re sitting.
No Frequency Beaming
Forward firing devices will have a very narrow dispersion at these ultrasonic frequencies, which means they will beam like a torch. The 360 degree design of the S-Trax means there will be no beaming but instead an immersive sound stage.
Even Response At Any Angle
In a typical room, a high proportion of sound perceived by the human ear is reflection generated by the off axis response of the speaker. Therefore any enhancement with a super tweeter is best served by an omnidirectional device with even response at any angle, placed at the acoustic centre of the main driver.

Known to maintain a 90 degree angle at each intersection of the expanding wavefront. The plane acoustic wavefront generated by the dome is translated into a spherical wavefront into the room, where it meets the diffuser.
Abilityto timeAlign
The addition of a S-Trax, when time aligned to the acoustic centre of the IsoFlare, will reduce the high frequency phase error by moving the low pass roll off point much higher.

Revealing Harmonic Detail
Most people know that adding a subwoofer deepens bass and improves balance. A super tweeter does the same for high frequencies, revealing hidden details and refining instrument tones. S-Trax enhances this by preserving the harmonic accuracy of our IsoFlare driver, improving timbre across the full range – even in non-IsoFlare designs.
With precise IsoFlare time alignment, it ensures reflected sound in the room retains the same harmonic structure as direct sound, by maintaining these subtle details, S-Trax delivers music with greater realism and emotional depth.

FAQ's
Musical instruments produce energy well above the generally considered limit of human hearing. Research has shown that we are capable of responding to this energy, justifying the addition of a super tweeter where wide bandwidth sources are used.
For a super tweeter to work correctly in the time domain, it has to be positioned backwards on the cabinet, to match the acoustic source of the main driver. Positioning the super tweeter at the front of the cabinet, as is often seen, is not ideal, although it could be argued that with a discrete non point source loudspeaker this is of even less consequence.
There is no phase errors in the audio pass band of a Red book CD due to the nature of the digital filtering used. However the addition of a S-Trax preserves this phase information even though there is no ultra sonic information present in the source.
